Love doctors

Many hospitals perform heart surgery, but a new Chinese hospital focuses more on affairs of the heart. The hospital in Changsha provides consulting services to couples who are having marital problems. The facility is staffed with psychotherapists who interview patients and offer suggestions on how to resuscitate their marriage. But if that fails, the doctors move on to offer expert advice on how to apply for a divorce, and divvy up assets. The hospital – which is located in the capital of Hunan province – is reckoned to be the first of its kind in China, according to the Changsa Evening News. With divorce rates rocketing in China it is likely to be a busy place. The doctors won’t mind; they charge up to Rmb800 ($117) an hour for their advice.
