You only love twice

The anonymity of online dating is one of its blessings. But as a man from Chongqing discovered, it can have bizarre consequences. The 30 year-old divorced lawyer soon found a woman online who seemed his perfect match. Chen Yong became increasingly besotted with his internet partner: they seemed to share the same views on love, marriage, and the world. Having concluded he was in love, Chen decided it was time to take the relationship ‘offline’, and asked for her phone number. According to the Chongqing Times, he recognised instantly that it belonged to his ex-wife. “From chatting online we got to know each other more and more,” says Chen. “We plan to remarry.”
