Caught on camera. Parents will often say “too much television isn’t good for you” in the futile attempt to regulate their children’s leisure hours. But the maxim has come true for a man in Fuzhou.
According to the Chongqing Economic Times, a man identified as Cheung discovered that television wasn’t too good for him either.
The man in question had committed murder 20 years earlier but had evaded capture. In an unlikely twist he reinvented himself as a dog trainer in Fujian province. But after an appearance on a regional TV show he was spotted by an erstwhile acquaintance from Chongqing, where the original crime took place.
The acquaintance alerted the police, who arrested the 41 year-old.
