For the man who has everything, a retailer in Wenzhou has a new gift idea. The National Business Daily reports that the recently opened Intime Department Store has added helicopters to its range of luxury products.

The helicopters being sold are American, the Rotorway EXEC162F, and are priced at Rmb1.15 million ($174,720). But the store’s director of planning thinks the new range will sell well: “Wenzhou’s flying club already has 3,000 members and the customers here are very likely to buy aircraft”.

The flying machines have to be assembled by the buyer, a task estimated at 600 hours. Then again, assembly will hardly be a problem for Wenzhou’s wealthier entrepreneurs. They’ll just send the kit down to one of their own factories…
