
Tyson Foods CEO Donnie Smith says the US firm has 20 chicken farms in China today, versus zero just three years ago. Its goal is 90 farms by 2015, selling 3 million chickens a week to supermarkets and restaurants. Tyson’s China revenues are forecast to increase to $1.1 billion in 2015 from around $700 million this year.
