Mining magnate Clive Palmer discusses his dispute with Citic Pacific, which he is suing for non-payment of royalties from the Sino Iron mine in Western Australia. Palmer says he’s owed A$193 million. “In a totalitarian state you don’t have rule of law, and, if you are a state-owned company, you decide what you want to do. So the principle at stake here is the rule of law and the independence of the country,” he told the Financial Times.
