Wants a hotline
Japanese prime minister Abe Shinzo tells the Financial Times that he’d like to meet his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping at the APEC meeting. Abe says he’d like to ask China to create a hotline between their defence authorities “in order to deal with contingencies”.
