Price’s quality pledge

Walmart’s Asia CEO Scott Price says the retailer has upped its spend on food safety initiatives in China to Rmb300 million ($50 million) annually, from Rmb100 million. He also admitted it had encountered past “speed bumps” in the country by mislabelling food as organic and selling expired duck meat.
