Ling Chengxing, the boss of China’s State Tobacco Monopoly Administration, speaks to Study Times after news that the government plans to further limit indoor smoking and possibly ban cigarette ads. China has 300 million smokers and the tobacco industry contributed $133 billion in taxes last year, almost 10% of the government’s fiscal revenues, reports Reuters.
