U.S. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew attend meeting in Beijing

US Treasury Secretary Jack Lew strikes a cautious tone in a speech at the American Enterprise Institute last Thursday. He said the obstacles faced by American businesses in China were either because of formal laws or bureaucratic complexity, and added that Beijing would have to “manage” these challenges better given foreign companies brought innovation to China, as well as economic activity.
