Alibaba’s Jack Ma takes a new tack after his firm was criticised for selling fakes on its site Taobao. Ma said the counterfeits are made in the same factories as the real products, using the same materials. WiC highlighted this problem in issue 292, citing an investigation by Time Weekly.
