
Germany’s ambassador to China Michael Clauss tells the South China Morning Post that his nation’s companies are downbeat about the competitive landscape in the country. He said even firms like Knorr-Bremse – one of the first to set up manufacturing facilities in China over three decades ago – are “facing an increasingly insurmountable protective wall favouring Chinese state-owned enterprises”.
