Most drivers have experienced trouble parking. The inability to find a spot is a common urban problem. But the predicament reached new heights in the city of Benxi late last month when a grey car was seen parked on the roof of the guard house at Baixing Golden Garden, a residential apartment complex. Residents and passers-by were intrigued and photos of the strangely parked car were soon posted online.
According to Liaoning Daily, the reason for the odd parking had nothing to do with shortage of spaces. Instead it related to a dispute between a female visitor and the guards over parking fees. When she left her car, refusing to pay, the property management company hired a crane and hoisted it onto the rooftop. Liaoning Daily has said it has tried to contact the owner of the car for comment, but to no avail.
