Liu: likes Cambridge

JD.com boss Richard Liu on his decision to open his company’s first European research centre in Cambridge. He told the Financial Times that the costs of hiring AI (artificial intelligence) talent was lower in Europe than in the US or China. Liu said he also plans to build a logistics network to take on Amazon, initially in France but then in the UK and Germany.
