
Comments made by Yang Jie, chairman of China Mobile, at its interim results briefing last Thursday. The company kept its annual capital expenditure at close to $26 billion and left its dividend unchanged. The Financial Times indicated that 5G development in China might have entered more of a ‘go slow’ phase, owing to Huawei’s problems with the US (see WiC507).
