Cartier embraces e-commerce

“We have opened a couple of new stores in China already. Because of the phenomenal growth and number of visitors the traffic is just enormous”


Cyrille Vigneron, CEO of Cartier International, tells China Daily that Covid-19 changed “market dynamics” for the ultra-luxury jeweller but “China is continuing its growth”. He said sales came mostly through retail stores across China but that e-commerce via its Tmall store had “very phenomenal acceleration”.
