Song Yu, chairman of Beijing Tourism Group, talks to China Daily about the Universal Beijing theme park resort which will open in a joint venture with Comcast NBCUniversal in the second half of the year. The giant project – China Daily says it is one of the largest of its kind in the world – required 100,000 construction workers and features seven ‘lands’, including three dedicated to Kung Fu Panda, the Transformers and Harry Potter.
