
Guo Ping, Huawei’s current ‘rotating’ chairman, gives an optimistic message to the staff of the Chinese technology giant. The company said its 2021 revenue was expected to be Rmb634 billion ($99.74 billion), a 29% drop on 2020. The firm’s smartphone business has been badly hit by US export controls which have denied it access to essential technology and components.
