British Foreign Secretary Lynn Truss tells the Sydney Morning Herald that Beijing might use a Russian invasion of Ukraine to launch action of its own in the Indo-Pacific. Paul Keating , a former Australian prime minister, strongly disagreed, saying her remark was “nothing short of demented” and that “the reality is Britain doesn’t add up to a row of beans when it comes to East Asia”.
