Eric Johnson, CEO of Tokyo-based JSR, one of the key suppliers of specialist materials essential for semiconductors talks about China’s ambitions in EUV tech. He told the Financial Times that even if China “got a paper on exactly what the chemistries were to manufacture that… at the purities, and the precision and reproducibility is really tough. It’s not that simple and they don’t have the supply chain to support that, either.”
